Advisory Board

CodeChix Advisory Board members represent non-profit, industry and academia in order to support our mission. Advisory members are responsible for providing guidance, governance and financial support to the organization to help us reach our goals.


Mimi hills, MEMBER

Mimi Hills is Director, Global Information Experience at VMware, where she manages the localization and technical publication teams. She has also led globalization teams at BlackBerry and Sun Microsystems. She comes from the software world with a background in project and engineering management. She’s active in the localization industry and is a passionate advocate for the non-English speaking user.

Mimi was a founding co-lead for the Women@VMware employee resource group, and a seven-time mentor for the TechWomen program. She is a strong proponent of Diversity and Inclusion, and is vocal about the role of women and minorities in the world of technology.

She is also a musician, and in her spare time, she plays guitar and stand-up bass. She is a founder of California Coast Music Camp, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that offers week-long learning experiences for adults. The camp is now in its 27th year, and Mimi is the current President of the Board of Directors.


gisela Bushey, MEMBER

Gisela is the Executive Director of Loaves and Fishes, a Bay Area non-profit feeding the impoverished.
